Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Pathaan’s trailer is all set to release tomorrow, January 10th. While the songs have received mixed reactions from the audience, they are excited about the release of the film. Their first song, Besharam Rang received flack from right-wing groups due to Deepika wearing a saffron-coloured bikini. Now, a Kolkata artist Soumya Mukherjee has released a Ghazal version of the song and fans are loving it.
Sung by Soumya Mukherjee and created by his brother, they stripped the song of all the electronic beats and accentuated the lyrics making it one of the best creations on the internet so far. Fans couldn’t stop themselves from congratulating the makers and sharing how they prefer their version of the song over the original. Talking about the ongoing controversy, it all started when several political leaders and Hindu organizations started raising an issue with Deepika wearing a saffron bikini. They claimed that her wearing that swimsuit was insulting Hindutava. From receiving death threats to protests halting the shoot of his upcoming projects, the actors have been receiving backlash from every corner.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the action-thriller also stars John Abraham in a negative role. While many fans are eager for the release of the trailer, it is being reported that it will be 2:30 minutes long, complete with adrenaline-raising action moments. The trailer is all set to release on Tuesday.
